I'm not aware of any... there might be.
But some our our students come from places as far away as Milton Keynes and even Brighton to train.

I'm not sure if Sifu Patrick Patel does private lessons - I know Sifu Mark Leung doesn't, reason being that training with other students of different sizes, body types, aptitudes - strengths and weaknesses etc - is actually quite fundamental to the rounded development of a SM student. As Damien said in his post, it's not a case of learning something then moving on - you will learn the 'same' thing over and over, in increasing depth. You can't be 'taught' this per se - you must be guided, and training with different people is part of the path.
I'd recommend you visit a few classes and feel some of the seniors so you understand what I'm going on about

Hi
Don't forget that SM is still pretty much a traditional Chinese Martial Art.
Relatively few Sifu teach westerners what is essentially a great cultural treasure - and even the handful that do teach openly to westeners have only started teaching relatively recently.
Lau Sau and Ip Sui had lots of students going way way back before the war - some great Masters.
I know many of the old Sifu are still in HK etc - but many travelled around - I don't know of any in Virginia, but then I haven't been looking there
Even so, the point I am trying to make is that there might be a Master there somewhere - but don't expect there to be an open school up your street - it's not McDonalds. There might be, if you're lucky - but I guess you would have found it by now.
I don't know if you are non-chinese or not, or what your background is, but a big mistake a lot of westerners make (myself included going way way back) is that learning kung fu is a service. The western mind at it's best. It isn't a service, it's a privelege - sure some Sifu make a living teaching, but if you want to learn the real essence of SM, or any traditional kung fu, the Sifu needs to see you as someone who's worth teaching.
So my advice to you would be to seek out your local chinese community, make some friends there - sincerely of course - learn a bit about the chinese culture, then make your enquiries about whether there are any SM Sifus in the community. Maybe you'll get lucky and there will be one... and maybe you'll get double lucky and he'll find you respectful enough, and suitable enough to train you.
The Chinese culture goes back some ridiculous amount like 5000 years before the western culture, while we were running around in animal skins. They know stuff that we haven't even begun to grasp yet - so consider immersing yourself in the chinese culture as part of your training.
Of course, if you ARE chinese, then you can ignore all of that
Or, if you can't be bothered to do any of that you could go down your local gym and learn boxa-aerobicise-kickboxing to hardcore techno music.
Alternatively, if you have your heart set on learning SM, then why not be proactive instead of waiting for it to fall in your lap? Why not move to London or Hong Kong? You only live once, and Hong Kong is a fantastic city...
