Hi All

I have had a look at another Chow Gar class and they did physical conditioning, drills at speed, weapons forms and sparring, I understand this is a different approach to yours, could you tell me which parts od the above you do and don't do ? This is not meant to troll or offend in any way I just want to make sure I get the best training I can in the system.

Regards
Adrian

Hi Adrian

we have the option to do all of the above. But the majority of students lean towards the internal training as true internal training of the quality that we recieve is a rarity.

The majority of people coming to martial arts for the first time are looking for exactly the kinds of things you've mentioned. So there is no right or wrong. It's a matter of preference and where you are at.

The paradox is - until you have some experience, you cannot know what is best for you no matter what you are told. You have to start somewhere, and in that case, starting anywhere is fine.

Good luck in your training.

Thanks.
