Sifu Li Fu Sau had done a fantastic job of creating a wonderful training venue for students, fitted with wooden floors, weapons racks – various training equipment, dummies etc – as well as a great area for students to relax and socialise in the mezzanine above the kwoon. It even has a pool table! Very nice.

The day began with a colourful array of Lions various schools in London, wishing Sifu Li much good luck with the continued growth and success of the school. Well-wishers from all over London and the UK had sent flowers and banners to the school, even if they could not attend personally.

Dragon students performed a number of different forms – solo forms, weapons forms and 2 man forms, for the crowd that attended.

Following the various demonstrations, everyone retired into the school’s student recreation area upstairs where plenty of food and drink was laid on for guests. We all ate plenty.

Our thanks to Sifu Li for allowing us to be one of the handful of schools that were invited to  attend the opening, and we wish him good success and plenty of good luck for the school and all students at the North London Dragon Sign Kwoon.
